PRESENTATION

Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to announce we are organizing the 57 Urology Course Fundació Puigvert which will take place from 16th to 18th October 2024. This triennial course will be held in an hybrid format This year, under the maxim “Expanding knowledge through dialogue” we will promote the exchange of science and experiences with a common goal: to advance in the treatment and care of urology.

Last edition, as we were just coming out from a pandemic status, we organized the course in an hibryd format and the outcome was so positive that we have decided to keep it in order to give the opportunity to those who are interested in follow it and can not be with us in Barcelona.

Technology in our specialty continues to advance and we want to capture the up-to-date events and disseminate the latest medical and technological innovations representative of all the Units that constitute our Urology Department: Uro-Oncology and Renal Transplant, Reconstructive and General Urology, Functional and Female Urology, Uro-Lithiasis and Paediatric Urology. In order to reach our aim, and as usual, we will count on the participation of prominent national and international experts.

The program will include live surgeries, pre-recorded surgeries, conferences, sessions with experts and round tables where current scientific topics will be discussed.

We will be happy to share this knowledge exchange with all of you. When Barcelona is always an attractive place to spend a few days, during 2024 the city will be the headquarters of the Copa América with plenty of activities, so it is important that you book accommodation and travel as soon as possible. We are looking forward seeing you.
